Behind the Words

Kaira Loi / K. E. Ireland is a passionate storyteller. Her unique background shaped her writing style and themes. She has two pennames in order to differentiate her mature books from her young adult series. 

K. E. Ireland was the penname she started with, publishing the Natan Fleet Show, which is a space opera series with three books.

Kaira Loi began with her spicy romance series, Immortal Nox. She has since used that penname for the Five Guiding Lights series, which is a romance fantasy, and the Soulless Prince series.

Author Inspirations

Kaira Loi / K. E. Ireland draws inspiration from life, the universe and everything. Her main influences are growing up reading the greats, such as Anne McCaffery, Louis McMaster Bujold, and Mercedes Lackey. She has later learned from the likes of R. A. Salvatore and Brandon Sanderson.

Many of her books come from “What If” scenarios, and in the case of the Natan Fleet Show, dreams.
